Blairquhan Castle – Regional Wedding Venue of the Year!

March 7th, 2017

Blairquhan Castle has bagged its first industry award, winning Wedding Venue of the Year in the South West region at the Scottish Wedding Awards 2017. This is an amazing achievement by our team in recognition of the outstanding service they have been providing to our clients in the past years!

With a public voting system, the Scottish Wedding Awards is very much a celebration of local talent. Winners are a true reflection of quality and customer service as chosen by members of the general public. To enter the competition, dress makers, florists, photographers, caterers, and others throughout Scotland have been nominated by devoted clients that have experienced exceptional service. The award ceremony was held at the Crowne Plaza hotel in Glasgow on Monday 27th February. The Wedding Venue of the Year Award was announced at the last due to it being the largest award category with very strong competition, and when we found out we were regional winners we were all over the moon!

We would like to take this opportunity to thank all of our clients and the general public who have nominated and voted for us. Also a special thanks to the amazing Blairquhan team, this is a truly exceptional achievement accomplished by a truly exceptional team!

Ganten have pledged to be sympathetic custodians of the fine house and surrounding lands, having already spent much time at the estate.

“Ganten wish to expand and diversify in Scotland with the aim of becoming a provider of top level accommodation and hospitality for elite Chinese and foreign tourists who desire only the best.”
