Starting
at 12.00 pm there will be a service of remembrance followed by a
'hog roast' picnic on the lawn. Mr Pat Hunter Blair and his
family will plant a tree in Jamie's memory.
The house and garden will be open during the
afternoon until 4.00 pm. In order that we

We are asking those
attending to contribute £12
(or more if you wish) towards the cost of the day. Please send cheques
(made payable to Blairquhan Estate) to Blairquhan Estate Office,
Maybole, Ayrshire KA19 7LZ.
We are setting up a
Memorial Fund for James, to fund bursaries for students from Ayrshire
wishing to go to the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama (RSAMD),
of which James was an enthusiastic supporter. An appeal to raise money
for this Memorial Fund will be launched at Blairquhan on 15th August,
when entertainers from the RSAMD will be providing a musical interlude. |
