Wauchope Cottage is one of the conversions from the former Stables Courtyard and has, in 2004, been greatly enlarged and modernised.
The cottage has a large living room with comfortable soft seating, a LED TV and adjoining open plan dining room. The fully equipped kitchen has an integral hob and oven, fridge/freezer, microwave, washing machine, and dishwasher. There is also a bathroom (with shower over the bath) downstairs.
Upstairs there are three bedrooms with twin beds, one family bedroom with a double and single bed and a second bathroom with bath and separate shower.
This has been our fifth stay at Blairquhan, our fourth in Wauchope Cottage. Sleeping eight comfortably, it is ideal for bringing family together for a holiday in picturesque and peaceful surroundings. The grounds of Blairquhan provide ample opportunity to walk, run, or simply explore. You never know, you might catch a glimpse of a deer, an owl, a kingfisher, a fox or a bat, all of which we have witnessed. A very delightful stay!
