MacKenzie Cottage is one of the conversions from the former Coachman’s House, Harness rooms and Stables of Blairquhan Castle. Downstairs there is a large living room, separate kitchen, a double bedroom and a bathroom with shower over the bath, upstairs there is a double bedroom, a twin bedroom and a family room with 1 double bed and 1 single bed in it, and a further bathroom with shower cubicle.
What a beautiful place. Surrounded by nature and the cottage itself is lovely. Spacious but cosy at the same time. The beds were really comfortable too. The host was very responsive to questions and friendly with it. It was the perfect location for a quiet family get together. I would definitely recommend and will be back someday.
