Blairquhan Castle Open Day – Fun for All!
Join us on Bank Holiday Monday 25th May, 12pm – 4pm for a fantastic free Castle Open Day, open to everyone! Enjoy live music, archery, lawn games, children’s entertainment, animals, great food and drink, plus a raffle with exciting prizes.
Explore the castle at your own pace and soak up a day full of family-friendly fun. Dogs are welcome for outdoor activities but must be kept on a lead.
All funds raised will support Whiteleys Retreat, a wonderful local charity based in Alloway that provides free therapeutic respite breaks and extended support to children, young people, and their families with cancer or life-altering illnesses across Scotland. Their retreat spans 32 acres of private land, offering families space for recreation, reflection, relaxation, relief, and resilience-building — and most importantly, valuable time together.
