All our five beautiful function rooms are designed to transform effortlessly to suit your event. From weddings and corporate gatherings to private dinners and milestone celebrations, each space offers a unique blend of historic charm and modern sophistication.
Saloon
Being the atrium of the Castle building, Saloon is a stunning central space ideal for drinks receptions or welcoming guests. With an impressive 60-foot-high ceiling, elegant features, and an inviting atmosphere, the Saloon sets the tone for any occasion.
- Top lit by 4 massive sash windows bringing in plenty of natural daylight
- The central point leading to all other four function rooms on the ground floor, this cleverly designed layout ensures all Castle events run effortlessly
- Large open space ideal for multi-purpose use, i.e. wedding ceremonies, drinks receptions, Yoga/Pilate sessions.
- Maximum capacity 120 people for drinks reception and 90 people for wedding ceremonies
Dining Room
Warm, refined, and rich in heritage, the traditional looking Dining Room provides an intimate setting perfect for private dinners or smaller celebrations. Its traditional Scottish character adds a sense of grandeur to every meal.
- Large front facing room filled with abundant natural daylight through 3 super tall sash windows
- A versatile space offering many different room layouts to suit your event needs, i.e. boardroom, herringbone, U-Shape, and banqueting style.
- A Dining Room dedicated for serving breakfast, lunch, and dinner to our Castle residents throughout their stay
- Maximum capacity 100 people for drinks receptions, or 60 people in banqueting or herringbone style
- Can be used as an indoor drinks reception room alongside the saloon if the weather is not favourable outside
Large Drawing Room
The exquisite Large Drawing Room captures the very essence of refined castle living. Rich damask walls, glittering chandeliers, and an impressive collection of period artwork create an atmosphere of stately charm; ornate detailing and high ceilings combined with stunning views through several floor-to-ceiling sash windows offers a breathtaking backdrop that needs little embellishment. The Large Drawing Room is ideal for wedding receptions, gala dinners, product launches, and other large events. It is also where all the late-night parties and dances take place!
- Back facing Grand ballroom with unrivalled open view to the rolling countryside and perfectly manicured flower garden
- An antique grand Bosendorfer piano available to use to accompany celebrations
- Can be used as a large seating room for smaller residential groups, or to host large dinner parties for bigger groups
- Working marble fireplace in the centre of the room, perfect for cosying up in the cold winter months.
- Maximum capacity 100 people for drinks receptions, or 60 people in banqueting style
Small Drawing Room
Step into the Small Drawing Room, where historical elegance meets a serene, secluded ambiance. Bathed in natural light from the beautiful bay windows, this lovely room offers enchanting views of the meticulously landscaped Castle front lawn and the flower garden.
The Small Drawing Room serves as a perfect retreat for quiet conversation or can be interconnected with the Large Drawing Room to accommodate grander functions, from private dining to wedding celebrations.
- Interconnecting with the Large Drawing Room, providing additional space to increase Castle’s overall dining capacity to 100 people
- Can be used as an individual sitting room, or as a breakout room to the adjoining Large Drawing Room for those important corporate meetings.
- The large bay window is where our Castle bar front is set up at weddings and events, providing guests with variety of both alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks
- Working fireplace for guests to enjoy quiet moments by the fire or conversations among friends in a setting steeped in history.
- Maximum capacity 40 for dining in banqueting style
