McDowall Cottage was converted from a former Garden Bothy. built about 1800. It is romantically situated on the garden wall of Blairquhan Gardens.
Downstairs McDowall Cottage has an open plan living room with comfortable soft seating, a digital TV, a fully equipped kitchen with an electric cooker, microwave, fridge/freezer and washing machine. A bathroom and bedroom with double bed. Upstairs there is a bedroom with two single beds.
We had a fantastic stay very comfortable and the piece off mind been able to bring our dogs along with us was just amazing. We are looking to make it an annual visit for the future.
